A hyperactive and restless child, Tzaddi fondly remembers putting on skits for her family, pursuing drama at an early age in order to channel and direct her boundless energy. She began acting in Summer stock projects at London’s Beck Youth Theatre and year round productions at the Questors Theatre . Uniquely, with parents in the industry who specialized in Managing, Producing and Directing, she also grew up attending BBQ’S with Iron Maiden and Pat Cash, on music video sets with Terence Trent D’arby and Diana Ross and hearing the words “Action…and cut. ”

At fifteen, she joined a girl group and, and with members of her band, began converting poetry she had written into song. At that time, she recorded and collaborated on many pieces of music and performed to audiences of thousands whilst pursuing her BA Hons Degree at the London College of Music and Media. When the group parted ways, Tzaddi continued singing solo, writing and co-writing dozens of songs. Her passion eventually led her to New York to work with record producers (see singer bio) http://www.tzaddi.net/music.html and inevitably attend the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.

    Today

As an actor and singer, Tzaddi has performed on stage at the The Public Theatre, American Theatre of Actors and such venues as St. Nick’s Pub, The Garage, The Lenox Lounge and the Triad. A descendant of freedom fighter Paul Bogle, Tzaddi’s charitable efforts include voluntary work for Services for the Underserved and The New York Solidarity coalition for Katrina and Rita Survivors and her ultimate calling is to increase her work to help others at every stage of her career. In 2008, Allick Simmons combined her education and experience working for various production companies to form Artist Relief Collective Inc. shining a light on the story of displaced Katrina survivors.

In 2011,  she wrote and co- produced  a one woman show  Tzaddi Sings Lena –  a tribute to the late great Lena Horne in NYC.

Continuing her passion for storytelling, Tzaddi is now stepping into the realm of production. Whatever she decides to do, Tzaddi Allick  will give it her heart and soul – willingly.
